Magic the Gathering Deck Change Planner (v1)

Ever have trouble keeping track of which cards you're considering replacing in a deck you're editing? Ever wish you could easily compare the mana curve, ratios, or other attributes for a deck before and after the changes you're considering? Now you can.

This is a spreadsheet template to help plan changes to existing Magic the Gathering decks. Input your existing decklist, track which cards you're changing, and quickly see how the deck's metrics change!

The "Deck Planner" sheet will import data like Card Type, CMC, Oracle Text, Power/Toughness, etc from Scryfall for each card you input for the original decklist and each replacement card. The "Analysis" sheet will calculate various things for the original decklist and the new decklist, such as the color balance, mana distribution including from non-land sources, count by card type, mana curve by card type, and loose counts of some important card effects. The "Purchase List" sheet sorts your added cards by cost and provides a card list that can be copy and pasted into bulk search at places like TCGPlayer and CardKingdom.

Input cells have white backgrounds. Formulas in gray cells shouldn't be changed. Feel free to add additional sheets for notes and card ideas while you're planning. As with any spreadsheet, be careful of how conditional formatting & formulas change when cutting and pasting. It's best to copy and paste any card names from one place to another, rather than cutting.
